Our Preschool Tamariki aged two to three years enjoy their own dedicated space - responsive to their rapidly growing capabilities. Our lower group size and child to teacher ratios support children to explore and test their limits, develop creativity and curiosity and make sense of their world in a safe and secure environment.
In the Preschool we have our own outdoor environment which enables us to set up equipment and resources accommodating children's interests and stage of development. Our inside space provides children with a quiet, calm environment to sleep on stretcher beds after lunch if needed.
Our daily routine includes grouptimes which offer a range of experiences from singing, stories, music and movement to tasks which support problem solving, trial and error and language skills. During free play time the children are offered a variety of art experiences and resources to support individual learning.
